Lunch with MC

It’s our 3rd week with our new babysitter, Carole. Today was the first day I did something fun for me! MC and I ate lunch with 2 of my friends, one of whom has a daughter, Dylan, who is MC’s age. The girls were very well behaved, at least for the 1st hour. Towards the end of lunch, MC decided she didn’t want to share her Hello Kitty Notebook with Dylan. Dylan didn’t want the SpongeBob notebook that MC had brought for her (I don’t blame Dylan at all). I was hoping the argument would blow over, because I was enjoying my peaceful lunch with only one child. I just sat there while Lindsay (Dylan’s mother) was trying to tell Dylan that the SpngeBob Notebook was just as good as the Hello Kitty, hoping MC would share without intervention from me, when all of a sudden Dylan told MC that Dylan had shared her computer with MC so MC should share her Hello Kitty Notebook with Dylan. That made perfect sense to me, so Dylan got use of the Hello Kitty Notebook. We talked about how MC had not been polite at lunch, and I suggested sending Dylan an email apologizing for her bad behavior. Here’s the email. MC told me what to say.
Dylan-
I am sorry for not sharing my Hello Kitty Book. I am sorry for not being well behaved.
Love,
Mary Catherine xooooxoxoxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxocxo
MC wanted to put a heart by her name, but I couldn’t find a heart on the fonts so we settled for a smiley face and lots of x’s and o’s that MC added herself.
