Grandmother's Carnival

Last Friday night, we drove to Dahlonega to visit Grandmother and Tom, because Grandmother’s school was hosting a Spring Fling Carnival. First, we visited the Funky Hair booth for some cheap braids. Then we strung necklaces while waiting for the nail painting booth to open.

Next, we stood in line to have our cheeks painted, then jumped in the princess bouncer, and swung on the playground before heading to the cafeteria for dinner.

Tom was in charge of grilling the hotdogs so we consumed about 6 hot dogs along with nachos and ice cream. Grandmother then took us to see her classroom where SF fell in love with one of the baby dolls. As we headed outside, we stopped to enjoy the entertainment provided by the 3rd graders - they danced to the Cars theme song. Once outside again, the girls played on the playground, ate cotton candy and a snow cone, & made sand art and spin art.

We headed to the car with one ticket to spare. We changed into our pj’s and headed home. It was a great evening, and MC has told everyone who will listen about her Grandmother’s Carnival.
